The KB Cabin is a single story house on a dramatic bluff with views overlooking the lake below to northeast and northwest.

The client wanted a summertime house for the next generation of family. A house that would be a part of the site instead of apart from the site. They wanted the house to resemble a something you would find in a national park. Something that is as beautiful as it is pragmatic.

Simple forms and thoughtful details create a sense of authenticity while as many trees as possible were kept on site to retain the privacy that the wilderness affords. The landscaping in the backyard will be self-made as time passes and children dream.
